三余

(三餘, 三余)

The three after death remainders, or continued mortal experiences, of (sa) śrāvakas and pratyekabuddhas, who mistakenly think they are going to [lang id =1028]無餘涅槃final nirvāṇa, but will still find [lang id =1028]煩惱餘 further passion and illusion, [lang id =1028]業餘 further karma, and [lang id =1028]果餘 continued rebirth, in realms beyond the [lang id =1028]三界(sa) trailokya.
